(a) Prepare the end of the wires that will terminate to the applicable splices in accordance with
Subject 20-30-12.
(b) Put a 2.50 ±0.13 inches in length of smallest diameter DWP-125 sleeve on one wire.
(c) Make an identification sleeve with the resistor or diode equipment number in accordance
with the Subject 20-10-11.
(d) Put the Identification sleeve on to the wire that does not have the DWP-125 sleeve.
(e) Terminate the applicable splice on to each end of the resistor or diode in accordance with
Table 1/ASSEMBLY PROCEDURES FOR SPECIFIED SPLICES and Subject 20-30-12.
(f) Solder the crimped leads to the splice barrel.
(g) Terminate the connecting wires to the other end of the splices in accordance with
Subject 20-30-12. Refer to Figure 1.
(h) Install the DWP-125 heat shrinkable sleeve on the assembly in accordance with
Subject 20-10-14. Refer to Figure 1. Make sure the sleeve is approximately centered on the
assembly
(i) Install the identification sleeve on the assembly in accordance with SSubject 20-10-14.
Refer to Figure 1. Make sure the identification sleeve is approximately centered on the
DWP-125 sleeve
