• Use the sntp client enable Global Configuration mode command to enable Broadcast clients globally.
• Use the sntp anycast client enable Global Configuration mode command to enable Anycast clients
globally.
Examples
The following example enables the SNTP client on the interface.
sntp unicast client enable
The sntp unicast client enable Global Configuration mode command enables the device to use the
Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) to request and accept Network Time Protocol (NTP) traffic from
servers. Use the no form of this command to disable requesting and accepting Network Time Protocol
(NTP) traffic from servers.
Syntax
• sntp unicast client enable
• no sntp unicast client enable
This command has no arguments or keywords.
