User Guidelines
• There are no user guidelines for this command. However, specifying 0 as the port number will
effectively disable HTTP access to the device.
Example
The following example shows how the http port number is configured to 100.
ip http exec-timeout
The ip http exec-timeout Global Configuration mode command sets the interval the system waits for
user input before automatically loging off. Use the no form of this command to return to default.

• no ip http exec-timeout
Parameters
•
minutes
— Integer that specifies the number of minutes. (Range: 0 - 65535)
•
seconds
— Additional time intervals in seconds. (Range: 0 - 59)
Default Configuration
The default configuration is 10 minutes.

• This command also configures the exec-timeout for HTTPS in case the the HTTPS timeout was not
set.To specify no timeout, enter the command
