The switchport general ingress-filtering disable Interface Configuration mode command disables port
ingress filtering. Use the no form of this command to enable ingress filtering on a port.
Syntax
• switchport general ingress-filtering disable
• no switchport general ingress-filtering disable
Default Configuration
Ingress filtering is enabled.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode.
User Guidelines

Example
The following example shows how to enables port ingress filtering on g8.
switchport general acceptable-frame-type tagged-only
The switchport general acceptable-frame-type tagged-only Interface Configuration mode command
discards untagged frames at ingress. Use the no form of this command to enable untagged frames at
ingress.
Syntax
• switchport general acceptable-frame-type tagged-only
• no switchport general acceptable-frame-type tagged-only
Default Configuration
All frame types are accepted at ingress.
Command Mode
