The following example displays the command to enable SNMP traps.
snmp-server trap authentication
The snmp-server trap authentication Global Configuration mode command enables the switch to send
Simple Network Management Protocol traps when authentication fails. Use the no form of this
command to disable SNMP authentication failed traps.
Syntax
• snmp-server trap authentication
• no snmp-server trap authentication

This command has no default configuration.

snmp-server host
The snmp-server host Global Configuration mode command specifies the recipient of Simple Network
Management Protocol notification operation. Use the no form of this command to remove the specified
host.
