system flowcontrol
The system flowcontrol Interface Configuration mode command enables flow control on cascade ports.
To disable flow control, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
system flowcontrol
no system flowcontrol
Default Configuration
System flowcontrol is disabled.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
This command is only operational on the 48 port device.
Example
The following example enables flow control on port 1/4.
mdix
The mdix Interface Configuration mode command enables automatic crossover on a given interface. Use
the no form of this command to disable automatic crossover.
Syntax
• mdix {on | auto}
•no mdix
• on — Manual mdix
• auto — Auto mdi/mdix
Default Configuration
Automatic crossover is enabled.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode.
Console(config)# interface ethernet 1/4
