IGMP Snooping Commands
ip igmp snooping (Global)
The ip igmp snooping Global Configuration mode command enables Internet Group Management
Protocol (IGMP) snooping. Use the no form of this command to disable IGMP snooping.
Syntax
ip igmp snooping
no ip igmp snooping
Default Configuration
IGMP snooping is disabled.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example enables IGMP snooping.
ip igmp snooping (Interface)
The ip igmp snooping Interface Configuration mode command enables Internet Group
Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping on a specific VLAN. Use the no form of this command to
disable IGMP snooping on a VLAN interface.
Syntax
ip igmp snooping
no ip igmp snooping
