Examples
The following example defines the authentication key for SNTP.
sntp authenticate
The sntp authenticate Global Configuration mode command grants authentication for received
Network Time Protocol (NTP) traffic from servers. Use the no form of this command to disable the
feature.
Syntax
• sntp authenticate
• no sntp authenticate
This command has no arguments or keywords.
Default Configuration
No authentication.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode.
Console(config)# sntp authentication-key 8 md5 ClkKey
Console(config)# sntp trusted-key 8
