Example
The following example enables the command history function for telnet.
terminal datadump
The terminal datadump EXEC mode command enables dumping of all the output from the show
command without ’prompting’. Use the no form of this command to disable dumping.
Syntax
• terminal datadump
• no terminal datadump
Default Configuration
Data dump is disabled.

User Guidelines
• By default when output continues beyond what is displayed on the screen, the CLI displays a
--More--
prompt. Pressing Return displays the next line; pressing the Spacebar displays the next output screen.
The datadump feature enables the dumping of all the output immediately after entering the show
command for the current terminal session.
Example
The following example enables dumping of all the output from show command without ’prompting’.

Console (config-line)# history
console# terminal datadump
