160 Ethernet Configuration Commands
Example
In the following example, the counters for interface g1 are cleared.
set interface active
The set interface active Privileged EXEC mode command reactivates an interface that was suspended by
the system.
Syntax

set interface active

— Valid Ethernet port.

port-channel-number —
V alid port-channel trunk index.
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Privilege EXEC mode.
User Guidelines
• This command is used to activate interfaces that were configured to be active, but were shutdown for
some reason.
Example
The following example activates interface g5, which is disabled.
show interfaces configuration
The show interfaces configuration Privilege EXEC mode command displays the configuration for all
configured interfaces.
