Explanation Port number or port address in startup configuration is out of bound.
Recommended Action Change FICON port number assign configuration and save to startup
configuration.
Error Message FICON-2-E_SAVE_FILE: [chars]
Explanation Failed to save file. Possibly due to asymmetric pdcm matrix. Look for retval for actual
reason.
Recommended Action Configure port prohibits in symmetrically.
Error Message FICON-2-SHUTDOWN: FICON Manager process shutting down: [chars]
Explanation FICON Manager shutting down.
Recommended Action This is a error. Provide the reason given in the message\n.
FICON-3
Error Message FICON-3-E_ASSIGN_BINDING_PN_FAIL: [chars]
Explanation Port number has fcip or port channel binding cannot be removed or changed.
Recommended Action Remove port number binding of the logical interface first.
