Error Message PORT-5-EC_DISABLED_AS_LICENSE_NOT_PRESENT: Extended credit feature
has been disabled as Enterprise Package license could not be checked out
Explanation The Enterprise Package license is not available, so the extended credit feature has been
disabled even though it was present in startup config.
Recommended Action Install the Enterprise Package license and re-enable the extended credit
feature.
Error Message PORT-5-IF_BRINGUP_ALLOWED_FCOT_CHECKSUM_ERR: Interface [chars] is
allowed to come up even with SFP checksum error
Explanation SFP checksum on this interface failed.
Recommended Action Try to replace the SFP on this interface.
Error Message PORT-5-IF_BRINGUP_FAILED_ALL_ZERO_PEER_WWN_RCVD: Interface [chars],

Explanation Check peer interface configuration.

Recommended Action Perform the following commands to bring up the interface: 'config terminal',
'interface [char]', 'no shutdown'.
Error Message PORT-5-IF_DOWN_BIT_ERR_RT_THRES_EXCEEDED: Interface [chars] is down
(Error disabled - bit error rate too high)
Explanation The port has detected too high bit error rate in frames received from attached device.
Recommended Action Check the attached device; replace it if needed.
