CAUTION
DO NOT TURN THE WIRE DURING OR AFTER THE INSERTION OF THE
WIRE INTO THE TERMINAL.
(4) Crimp the terminal.
(5) Examine the terminal lug.
Make sure that the crimp certification mark:
• Is in the correct position
• Has the correct shape.
Refer to Figure 9.
Make sure that the distance from the edge of the crimp to the edge of the flat surface of the
terminal tongue is less than 1/6 inch. Refer to Figure 10.
