(1) Make a selection of an AMP splice crimp tool from Table 14 and BACS52N splice crimp tool from
Table 15.
CAUTION
COPALUM SPLICES MUST BE CRIMPED WITH THE SPECIFIED TOOLS
FOR THE SPLICE. IF THE SPECIFIED TOOLS ARE NOT USED,
UNSATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE OF THE SPLICE CAN OCCUR.
(2) Make a selection of a power pump from Table 16.
Make sure that the power pump pressure is satisfactory for the crimp tool head. Refer to Table
17.

IF THE PRESSURE OF THE POWER PUMP IS MORE THAN THE
MAXIMUM PRESSURE PERMITTED FOR THE CRIMP TOOL HEAD, AN
INJURY TO PERSONNEL CAN OCCUR.
