Prepare and assemble sample plates
IMPORTANT! Do not use warped or damaged plates.
Prepare sample plates
1.
If you use plates with barcodes, check the barcode label before proceeding.
If the barcode label is dirty, wipe it clean. If the barcode label is not attached firmly to the plate, do
not use the plate.
2.
Pipet samples into the plate wells.
3.
Briefly centrifuge the plate.
4.
Verify that each sample is positioned correctly at the bottom of its well.
IMPORTANT! If the cont
ents of any well contain bubbles or are not located at the bottom of the
well, repeat step 3 and step 4.
5.
S
tore the plate on ice and protected from light until you are ready to load the plate in the
instrument.
