The blue active icon
is displayed when the instrument is registered and ready to accept voice
commands, and a person is det
ected by the proximity sensor.
Disable the voice command function
The voice command function can be disabled for individual users or for the instrument.
• To disable the voice command function for an individual user, tap the microphone icon to mute the
microphone. The muted microphone icon is shown below.
• To disable the voice command function for the instrument, disable access to Thermo Fisher
™

Use voice commands
1.
Sign in with a cloud profile.
2.
Ensure that the blue microphone icon
is displayed at the top of the screen.
If the icon is displays a forward slash as shown below, the microphone is muted. Alexa cannot
accept commands when the micr
ophone is muted. Tap the icon to unmute the microphone.
If the icon is gray as shown below, step in front of the proximity sensor on the front of the
instrument.
