PowerVault ML6000 Maintenance Guide 149
4 Remove all power supplies from the affected module and set aside.
5 Remove any cover plates from empty power supply slots and set aside.
6 Using a socket wrench or Torx screwdriver, reach through the power supply opening and remove the
two screws that attach the fuse cover to the DSIB board, removing the fuse cover. If it is not possible to
access the screws, you may need to remove the library side cover panel as well.
7 Using a fuse puller, carefully pull the failed fuse from its two fuse clips, which are attached to the DSIB
board, located to the left of the power supply area of the module. See Figure 20
and Figure 21 for fuse
location.
8 Replace the drive fuse with one of the same amperage and type for the module (see information above).
Firmly press the new fuse into the two fuse clips. The fuse will snap into the fuse clips when it is secured.
