DR022 - Resolve Missing Power Supply
This DR provides customer resolution steps for T071 on page 269.
Problem: A power supply is detected to be missing in the system. This is most likely caused by an actual
removal of a power supply.
1 If you have temporarily removed a power supply from the library, replace it and close this ticket.
2 If you want to permanently remove a power supply, close the ticket and power cycle the library with the
power supply removed.
3 If all power supplies are actually present, the ticket details may indicate a failed power supply. Contact
Service for possible replacement.
4 You have three options:
a. Select Close to close the ticket now.
b. Select Exit to leave the ticket open for future troubleshooting.
c. Select Back to return to the Diagnostic Resolution.
DR023 - Resolve Missing I/E Station Magazine
This DR provides resolution steps for T014 on page 211.
Problem: An I/E station has been closed with a cartridge magazine missing. The library can still perform
most operations; however any attempt to export a tape cartridge to this I/E location will fail.
1 If the magazine was intentionally removed, the only action required is to close this RAS ticket.
2 If the magazine was removed by mistake, open the I/E station and reinstall the magazine. Close the
RAS ticket.
3 If the magazine is actually installed, close the ticket and open and close the I/E station. If the ticket is
displayed again, contact Service for assistance.
4 You have three options:
a. Select Close to close the ticket now.
b. Select Exit to leave the ticket open for future troubleshooting.
c. Select Back to return to the Diagnostic Resolution.
DR024 - Resolve Drive TapeAlert 39 – Diagnostics Required
This DR provides resolution steps for T056 on page 252.
Problem: The tape drive determined that a hardware fault may have occurred that requires further
diagnostics.
