DR034 - Resolve Open Storage I/E Door
This DR provides customer resolution steps for T073 on page 271.
Problem: This library has an I/E station door that is configured for tape cartridge storage. This door was
detected to be open at a time when the library needed it to be closed. The library cannot access these tape
cartridge storage locations until this I/E station door is closed and locked by the library.
1 Close all I/E station doors.
2 Observe that the library automatically locks any I/E station door that is configured for storage. Any I/E
station that is not configured for storage will normally remain unlocked.
3 If the I/E station does not lock, open the module’s I/E station and main access door to view the I/E
station’s lock assembly.
4 Inspect both I/E station lock assembly sensor switches, located in the front and rear of the I/E station
lock assembly.
5 Look for obstructions or misalignment causing the rear sensor switch actuator lever to be held down.
6 Open and close the IE station safety door multiple times to view operation of the front sensor switch.
7 If no issue is found, or if interference was identified and corrected, close the ticket, then close the I/E
station and main access door.
8 Observe the library initialization and verify that the I/E station is being locked.
9 If the I/E station is not being locked, or the ticket is displayed again, contact Service for further
assistance.

DR035 - Resolve Robot Power Interruption
This DR provides customer resolution steps for T065 on page 263.
Problem: The robot has momentarily pulled too much current. Circuit protection has occurred, and a fuse
may have blown, or an internal power supply may have temporarily shut off.
1 Close this ticket.
2 Open a library main access door, wait 10 seconds, and then close the main access door.
3 Observe library initialization.
4 If the robot does not initialize and/or a ticket is displayed again, contact Service for further assistance.
