9 Reattach the fuse cover to the DSIB board by using a screwdriver to tighten the cover’s two screws.
10 Replace the side cover panel of the library, if necessary.
11 Replace all power supplies and cover plate(s) you removed previously, and reconnect all power supply
cord(s).
12 Turn on all power supplies in the module in which you replaced the drive fuse.
13 Power on the library using the front power switch.
Removing and Replacing the I/E Station Lock Assembly
Each module’s I/E station must be locked for the library to function properly. When the library is busy
performing a task, such as retrieving a cartridge, the library locks all I/E station doors. The doors cannot be
opened until the library is no longer busy. If the library detects that an I/E station door is either open or
unlocked, the library cannot operate normally.
The I/E station lock assembly contains the lock sensor and lock solenoid.
These instructions explain how to replace an I/E station lock assembly with a new one. You may need to
replace an I/E station lock assembly if there are problems with the current one.
Required tools: Flathead, Phillips #2, or T10 Torx screwdriver for removing and replacing the lock
assembly.
The type of screws depends on the version of lock assembly to be replaced. An
additional fastener set is provided with the new lock assembly.
