DR038 - Resolve Tape Blocker Location
This DR provides customer resolution steps for T078 on page 276.
Problem: The library detected one or more tape blockers installed in improper magazine slot locations. Tape
blockers are not supported in libraries with Model 2 robots and libraries with Model 1 robots support tape
blockers only in the very bottom row of storage magazines within the bottom library module.
1 Make note of the slot coordinates provided in the Ticket Details.
2 Take all library partitions offline and open the library main access door(s).
3 Locate all tape blockers per noted coordinates from the Ticket Details.
4 Remove and retain the tape blockers for possible installation in appropriate storage locations.
5 If a Model 1 robot is installed, tape blockers should only be installed in the bottom rows of storage
magazines within the bottom library module. If any of these storage magazine slots does not have a
tape blocker installed, a tape blocker may be added and inserted.

DR039 - Resolve Logical Library Deletion
This DR provides customer resolution steps for T080 on page 279.
Problem: The system has detected a change in module configuration, such as a new control module serial
number or a removed expansion module that will invalidate any existing partitions.
Although a partition may be visible on the user interface, slot and drive associations are incorrect, due to
the new module configuration.
1 If the library module configuration was not changed, contact Service for assistance.
2 If the module configuration was changed, consult the user documentation regarding deletion and
creation of partitions.
3 Delete all existing partitions, and then recreate new partitions.

DR040 - Resolve Incompatible Module Branding
This DR provides customer resolution steps for T081 on page 281.
Problem: The library has detected a branding mismatch. This is most likely caused by a manufacturing
labeling error or a user mixing incompatible parts from multiple library systems. It is also possible that the
barcode reader is not scanning the labels correctly.
1 If this problem was reported following a field upgrade, or the replacement of a defective part, it is likely
that the new part is not correct or is mislabeled. Contact Service for possible replacement.
