T033 - TapeAlert 3 - Hard Read or Write Error
Description GUI Description: The tape drive issued a TapeAlert, informing the library that
it stopped the current read or write operation due to a hard read or write error
that the drive cannot correct.
Explanation: System determines that the drive has issued a TapeAlert 3,
indicating an unrecoverable read, write, or positioning error.
Detection Scenarios Tape drive issues a TapeAlert 3, which is recognized by the library during the
continuous 4-second polling cycle of drive status.
Root Causes Drive has determined that there is a problem per its internal algorithms.

Possible CRUs/FRUs Note: Read and perform all resolution steps before dispatching any parts.
Dispatch the first part listed below for replacement. If this does not solve the
