8. Usage Precautions
Note the following when using the backup power supply.
− Charging a primary battery or overcharging a secondary battery may cause battery leakage or fire.
Check the features of the battery to be used before deciding the configuration of the circuit around
the battery.
− The hibernation control function cannot be used if the on-board regulator has no standby pin. To
control the hibernation, select a product that has a standby pin.
