Description
This command enables the DNS client of the device. To be able to use the function, a DNS
server must be reachable.
Requirement
You are in the Global configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config)#
Syntax
Call the command without parameters:
ip domain lookup
Result
The DNS client of the device is enabled and when necessary sends queries to the DNS
server.

Description
This command disables the DNS client of the device.

You are in the Global configuration mode.

Syntax
Call the command without parameters:
no ip domain lookup
Result
The DNS client of the device is disabled.
