With this command, you change the password of a user.
You are in the Global Configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config)#
Call up the command with the following parameters:
username {user|admin}password<passwd>
The parameters have the following meaning:
the password for the user is changed
the password for the administrator is changed
Value for the password
Note
Length of the password
The password must be at least 6 characters long.
The password is changed.
Note
Changing the password in Trial mode
Even if you change the password in Trial mode, this change is saved immediately.
