show interfaces
Description
This command shows the status and the configuration of one, several or all interfaces.
You are in the User EXEC mode or in the Privileged EXEC mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli> or cli#
Call up the command with the following parameters:
show interfaces
[{
[<interface-type><interface-id>]
[{description|status}]
|
{vlan<vlan-id(1-4094)>}
}]
The parameters have the following meaning:
Type or speed of the interface
Enter a valid interface.
Module no. and port no. of the interface
Shows the description of the interface
Shows the status of the interface -
Keyword for a VLAN connection
Number of the addressed VLAN
For information on identifiers of addresses and interfaces, refer to the section "Interface
identifiers and addresses (Page 23)".
If you do not select any parameters from the parameter list, the status and configuration of
all available interfaces will be displayed.
The status and the configuration of the selected interfaces are displayed.
