The PixPad will change showing the
available controls. Select the [Start
Record] PixButton, as shown on the
right.
The display will update with the words
Recording, the counter will start to
advance and the [>] motion control
button will illuminate red, as shown on
the right.
The [>] motion control button may also
be used to start recording
To stop recording:
In Device Control section, select the [Record]
PixButton, it will illuminate orange, as shown on the
right.
In the PixPad select the [Stop Record] PixButton, as
shown on the right.
The counter will stop, the display will read out ready to
record and the motion control button will illuminate
orange, as shown on the right.
The [>] motion control button may also be used to stop
recording.
In addition, Macros can be used to start and stop the
Record device, once a name and directory have been
chosen.
Audio Mixer
Every Broadcast Pix FX/RX system includes an internal audio mixer. It includes up
to 8 stereo inputs and 3 outputs with peak hold VU metering and features include
customizable mapping and naming, mute, solo, linking and audio follow video.
The audio mixer can take in any of the analog, HDMI or embedded SDI audio as
well the the two internal clip stores. For audio to be properly recognized a valid
video signal must be connected to the input card.
There are 2 main outputs, one ‘Master’ which can be outputted from the I/O cards
and is used to feed the internal recording device and the other ‘Web’ which is
intended to feed the web stream, but can also be used as a secondary or aux
mixer and outputted through the I/O cards. In addition, there is a solo output,
