7. Load the system software (flash memory card)
8. Connect the terminals
9. Perform a visual inspection
10. Mount the housing cover
External main distribution frame
In general, Hicom 150 E OfficeCom and OfficePoint do not require an external main distribution
frame. The connection lines to the peripherals are directly connected to the appropriate boards and fed
out via a cable duct inside the housing.
Danger
If using an external main distribution frame that requires a protective earth (indicated by the
symbol "
" on the earthing connector), this must be earthed by a separate protective earth
conductor (minimum cross section= 2.5 mm
2
).
Ignoring this may lead to danger!
The instructions outlined in Figure 4-24 should be observed if removing an existing customer system
while continuing to operate the external main distribution frame.
