8.26 Remote administration via DTMF
Introduction
Remote DTMF administration permits simple remote programming. Remote administration and
maintenance is performed from the user interface for normal system administration. Entries are made
exactly as though programming were via a system administration procedure executed directly on the
customer system.
Remote DTMF administration can be activated from any extension in the source or master system by
means of a code procedure.
This requires that active remote DTMF administration always be activated in the source system.
Passive remote DTMF administration must always be enabled in the destination or slave system.
In addition, remote administration must be enabled for the existing connection from the extension in
the destination system (slave system) by means of a procedure and by specification of a password
(6-digit, default = 000 000).
