9.2.2.8 optiset E headset adapter
The optiset E headset adapter (TA HIO) is used to connect a headset (not on the optiset E basic
terminal).
9.2.2.9 optiset E headset plus adapter
The optiset E headset plus adapter (TA HRO) can be used to connect a headset (not on the optiset E
basic terminal) and a tape recorder.
9.2.2.10 optiset E ISDN adapter
The optiset E ISDN adapter (TA S
0
) is used to provide ISDN basic access for S
0
equipment (up to 2),
such as group 4 fax machines, ISDN data terminals or video communication equipment (videoset,
videokit, etc.). The S
0
terminals to be connected must have a separate power supply.
You cannot use an additional optiset E phone adapter or optiset E analog adapter while the ISDN
adapter is connected.
9.2.2.11 optiset E phone adapter
The optiset E phone adapter (PA) is used to connect a second optiset E terminal (slave telephone),
which the system treats like an independent terminal with a separate station number and a separate B
channel, via an RJ11 connection.
9.2.2.12 Plug-type AC adapter
A plug-type AC adapter may be necessary when using large configurations or to extend the range.
You can connect the plug-type AC adapter to the line cords of a master or slave terminal using two
RJ11 jacks and the connecting cable supplied (see Figure 9-7).
