A special AT command is used to activate API2 mode from the PC, after which the adapter
transports transparent D channel messages in both directions (PC <--> Hicom 150 E Office).
9.2.2.7 optiset E data adapter
The optiset E data adapter (TA 232D) provides data communication with a PC without having to
equip the PC with an S
0
card. The adapter supports terminal dialling according to Hayes (AT
command sets, default settings) or V.25bis (switchover from Hayes (AT) to V.25bis takes place with
the AT%V command).
