8.13 Configuring fixed night service
Introduction
"Fixed night service" can be activated in accordance with the described procedure from the attendant
console or from authorized extensions. Generally speaking, only calls for the intercept position are
routed to a night destination.
Example
Extension 250 is the destination for fixed night service.
Extensions 200 and 201 are to have night service authorization
(in the example, 1 x S
0
and 1 x MSI).
When night service is activated, calls via S
0
are routed directly to the night
destination; on the other hand, calls via LS are first signalled at the extension to which
calls are allocated for day service.
Calls for standard DID stations are routed to the night destination after the number of
rings, call cycles in the corresponding index for night service.
