Connection handover:
The call is terminated while
attempting to change to another BS.
Switch on range warning tone.
Check whether or not the BS to which the call is
handed over is in overload status (all radio channels
busy).
Check the BS.
Check the overlap sectors.
Is the radio quality RSSI value of the other BS okay (at
least 90) (see page 12-31).
Check the cable length differences between base
stations and Hicom 150 E OfficePro system (see page
12-51).
Check the cable cross section/paths of the a/b lines
from MDFU to the base station (see page 12-50, range).
12.8 Site selection for the base station
In order to identify the best sites for the base stations, a basic radio coverage test should be
carried out (in accordance with the information in the manual "Hicom cordless -
presentation/measurement equipment" (see List of documentation)). The following
information can only provide a basic knowledge and cannot take the place of a radio
coverage test.
