2. Connect lines from MDFU/MDFU-E to BS (symmetric stranded cable)
Recommendation: JYSTY, 2 x 2 x 0.6 mm
The supply line to the BS must be fitted with an over-voltage protector in the
MDFU/MDFU-E!
The maximum line length (supply range) between Hicom 150 E OfficePro and a BS with
0.6 to 1.2 mm should not exceed 1000 m. A uniform wire diameter must be maintained at all
times between Hicom 150 E OfficePro and BS. The supply voltage at the end of the
incoming line (U
P0/E
), i. e. on the BS must not exceed 35 V.
Due to the time delay of the signals (cable propagation time), the difference in the line
lengths between the various overlapping base stations and Hicom 150 E OfficePro must be
kept to a minimum. For further information, please refer to page 12-51.
Step Action
3. Connect base station according to Figure 12-2. The connection of the BS is protected against
short circuits and incorrect polarity.
Once it has been connected to the Hicom 150 E OfficePro system, the base station is operable.
It is not necessary to make adjustments to the base state. Power is supplied by the PSUI via the
U
P0/E
interfaces of the SLMC8.
12.4 Mobile telephone login/logout on the system
Introduction
When the SLMC8 board is plugged in, 16 mobile telephones are enabled for use (PIN numbers are
assigned) and can be logged in. Other mobile telephones must first be enabled before they can be
used.
The login window must be opened via an authorised system telephone using a code and password
before you can log in a mobile telephone.
Login: requirements
Disable mobile telephones to be logged in (for example, mobile telephone 1 with PIN 11568
and call number 124).
Open the Hicom 150 E OfficePro login window. Procedure:
