7.7.1.3 Dial-In Control Server (DICS)
Definition
With this type of LCR, the system decides on the basis of the routing table whether the call is to be
made via the DICS or the public network. If the DICS is used, the system dials the DICS by means of
a configurable access code and an authorisation code and transmits the extension number dialled by
the subscriber in the subaddress (via the D channel). DICS checks the class of service on the basis of
the CLIP information and the ID that was transferred.
If the DICS is not found when the first connection is set up, rerouting via the public network is
performed. This alternative access must be configured.

activated.
ISDN/subaddressing The ISDN "subaddressing" feature must be applied for or released
in the public network.
Analog CO DICS can only be used with ISDN.
7.7.1.4 Corporate Network (CN)
Definition
A corporate network is an alternative network, such as a company-specific network that is connected
directly to Hicom 150 E.
The LCR function determines the relevant route from the extension number dialled by the user and
then routes the call either via the route in the public exchange or via the route in the corporate
network.
If necessary, the extension number is translated.
