7.11 Networking
Calls are processed in private and public networks via line interfaces, numbering plans, alternative
routing functions and extension number analysis. The CorNet N networking protocol is used to
network Hicom 150 E Office systems via digital lines.
CorNet N is a data protocol from Siemens AG for digital communication between Hicom 150 E
Office and other private telecommunications systems from Siemens.
7.11.1 Satellite PABX capability
Definition
Hicom 150 E Office systems can be connected to an existing PABX as a satellite PABX and be
involved in its functions.
Tie trunk traffic can be processed both via direct connections between the systems and via public lines
or nailed connections. Tie trunk traffic can also be implemented via E&M lines in the case of Hicom
150 E Office Pro.

In the case of closed numbering, trunk group codes for CorNet trunk groups
must be deleted, trunk access codes remain!
LCR Main CO LCR must be active in the system for transit.
CorNet trunk groups In the case of CorNet trunk groups that can seize a trunk in the remote system,
the second trunk code of the trunk group in the remote system must be
entered.
Analog lines In the case of analog external lines, the main PABX is signalled by means of a
flash (not earth).
