7.1.12 Attendant Console (AC) / Intercept Position
Definition
Attendant console services can be carried out in the Hicom 150 E Office system using a specially
configured telephone. This attendant console (AC) can also be used as an intercept position and is
called the Hicom Attendant C. All of the calls accumulate at the attendant console if it is not possible
to perform a DID, or if an extension could not be contacted (intercept) via the call allocation
algorithm in Call Management. The attendant then forwards the incoming calls to the requested
extensions.
You can also configure a PC as an attendant console (PC-AC). The PC-AC is described in detail in
Chapter 10 (Special Equipment).
For information on the arrangement and/or the assignment of the function keys on the optiset E
comfort / optiset E memory, please refer to the Hicom Attendant C operating instructions for Hicom
150 E Office, optiset E comfort, optiset E memory (see List of documentation).
