Call forwarding If an extension that activated this feature has also activated CFW, group
ringing is not carried out.
Do not disturb (DND) If an extension in the answer group has activated do not disturb, group
ringing is not carried out at this extension.
Timed reminder An activated timed reminder call does not comply with an answer group.

Step Action
1. Activate answer group on an internal extension (*81 + extension no.).
2. Place a call to this extension.
3. The extension in the answer group also rings.
7.5.3 Night Service
Definition
Night service enables you to forward calls. The feature forwards all calls that reach the attendant
console to a predefined destination, which can be either an individual extension or a group. You can
also use the central ringing feature in conjunction with night service in order to alert any personnel
that may be present (night shift) to night calls.
The Hicom 150 E Office system distinguishes between day service, fixed and variable night service.
In the cases of day service and fixed night service, an incoming external call complies with the
tables/call destination lists for day or night service entered in CM regardless of the station type.
In the case of variable night service on a voice station, the call to a voice terminal first complies with
the first destination of the fixed night service. All other call destinations of the fixed night service lose
their validity and are replaced by the variable night station.
The system thus behaves in all aspects in the same way as a call forwarding - no answer to a night
destination.
External DID calls are handled on the basis of a list for night service. This is also known as assigned
night service since it enables you to assign individual lines to different night destinations.
