Procedure
The following procedure must be observed when upgrading an existing system.

Step Action
1. Switch off the system and unplug the power cable.
2. Insert the new board(s).
3. Plug in the power cable.
4. If applicable, add customer data; extension-related data is modified if the numbering plan for
extensions is modified. Therefore, the modified data must be reprogrammed following a
reinitialisation or country adaptation.
6.2.1 Connecting a printer, modem or PC
A printer for printing out call charge or customer data, a PC for further processing the call charge data
(call charge data management) or a PC for system administration can be connected to the V.24
interfaces on the CBFC in the case of OfficeCom/OfficePoint and the V.24 interface of SBS in the
case of OfficeOne.
The printer or PC to be connected must have the same parameters as the V.24 interface(s) of the
system CBFC/SBS: 2400 or 9600 bauds (selectable), no parity, 1 stop bit, 8 data bits.
Connection to the system
V.24 board OfficeCom/OfficePoint: connect a 25-pin Canon connector to one of the V24 sockets on
the system and feed it out of the system via the strain relief.
V.24 socket OfficeOne: connect a V.24 adapter cable to the V24 socket on the system and feed it out
of the system via the strain relief.
