Range
max. 1000 m line length depending on the type of cable (0.6 to 1.2 mm ). The
supply voltage at the BS must not fall below 35 V.
With a line length of 1000 m, the diameter of the a/b line must be uniform from
the MDFU/MDFU-E to the BS.
A reduction in the range may occur in some cases due to oxidised distribution
screw connections, differing wire diameters at specific points on the a/b line and
unsoldered line couplings.
The difference in signal delay times in base stations overlapping in the radio range must not
exceed 2 µs. For further information, please refer to page 12-51.
Connecting cables
The base stations are connected with two wires via the main distributor (MDFU/MDFU-E) of the
