Extension number transmission Temporary extension number suppression must be supported by
the CO.
System-wide extension number
display suppression.
If system-wide extension number display suppression is activated
(CLIR and COLR), it cannot be overwritten (i.e. temporary
suppression has no effect).
CLIR It is possible to ignore an activated CLIR setting and to thus show
the number of the calling party on the display. This may be
practical in the case of emergency calls for example.
Configuration options
This feature does not have to be explicitly configured.
Performing Feature Check
Check the feature for error-free functioning as follows:
Step Action
1. Enter the code *86 to activate extension number suppression.
2. Set up an outgoing connection. The extension number is not displayed on the remote
extension.
3. Enter the code #86 to deactivate extension number suppression.
4. Set up an outgoing connection. The extension number is displayed on the remote extension.
