Unsupported HCD
Bit 7 of the Interrupt Status Register is set to 1 when the auto-
negotiation HCD is not supported by the BCM5722 Ethernet
controller. The BCM5722 Ethernet controller does not support
100BASE-T4. The bit is cleared when the register is read.
• 1 = Auto-negotiation HCD not supported by BCM5722 Ethernet
controller.
• 0 = Interrupt cleared.

Synchronization
Error
The BCM5722 Ethernet controller returns a one on bit 6 of the
Interrupt Status Register when a scrambler synchronization error
has been detected since the last time this register was read,
otherwise, it returns a 0.
• 1 = Scrambler synchronization error occurred since last read.
• 0 = Interrupt cleared.

Status Change
The BCM5722 Ethernet controller returns a one on bit 5 of the
Interrupt Status Register when the remote receiver status has
changed since the last time this register was read, otherwise, it
returns a 0.

The BCM5722 Ethernet controller returns a one on bit 4 of the
Interrupt Status Register when the local receiver status has
changed since the last time this register was read, otherwise, it
returns a 0.

Interrupt Status Register when the duplex mode has changed
