7.10.4 Sensors
Definition
Control inputs (sensors) can be implemented in Hicom 150 E Office via an optional control relay
module. When responding to a sensor, the station assigned receives an automatic call. When the
station replies, an appropriate text can be played by an announcement device. The signal input
function is triggered by closing any external, floating working contact. The electrical isolation
between the external circuit and system control is performed by an optocoupler.
The sensors can trigger the following functions:
Call signalling at telephones
Display message at optiset E telephones
Evaluation of the start/stop signal of an announcement device
Answering machine control
