SW installation
The software for the PC AC must be installed on a Pentium PC running Windows 95 by following the
relevant SETUP and installation messages.
The Plug and Play setup installs the PC AC (PC attendant console) with a default configuration.
Under certain circumstances it may be necessary later on to adjust the PC AC to your own
requirements using the "Options" dialog.
An optional blind terminal can be connected to the PC-AC via a second serial interface.
The PC AC logs onto the system automatically following installation of the software.
Configuration options
A static engaged display can be configured for up to 240 (2 x120) internal extensions. This display is
shown in a separate window. The BLF keys can be used as destination keys. These are programmed
from the PC AC.
When transferring a call, the attendant can use the release key to connect the calling party directly to
the called party (i.e. attendant excluded from call). The disconnect key can be used to terminate the
current call.
It is possible to enable and disable acoustic signalling for private calls on the Optiset E.
The PC AC makes it possible to automatically record and store call detail data. The stored data can be
further processed by the call detail application "Teledata Pro A" that has been installed on the same
PC. Central call detail recording can only be assigned to one destination by the system, e.g. to a PC
AC or a separate call detail computer or printer.
When closing the application on the PC AC, standby mode is enabled, i.e. all necessary applications
must be executed directly on the optiset E.
Configuration note:
The system interprets the closure of the application as the terminal being unplugged. In this case, you
must set up a call forwarding destination (CFW dest.) that picks up after a max. of 15 rings (approx.
75 s). The CFW destination is immediately called when the application is closed.
