Performing a recall
In the case of terminals with display information about the message such as the sender`s name
and number, text, date and time can be queried via a dialog menu and the sender of the message
can then be recalled without having to enter the extension number. In the case of analog
terminals, the recall can be initiated by means of a procedure code and by pressing the
"Mailbox key" in the case of optiset E terminals without a display.
Deleting a message
Both the sender and the recipient of the message can delete the message using either the dialog
menu or the procedure code. Otherwise, the message is only deleted if a call is eventually set up
between the participating extensions.
Central voice mail server
The user of a satellite PABX can program call forwarding or call forwarding - no answer to the
central voice mail. Received calls are indicated to the relevant extension via Message Waiting.
External extension numbers cannot be programmed in the call management lists which means
that you have to configure a pseudo port as a phone mail port with call forwarding to the
external voice mail server.
