framing (T1)
To select the frame type for a T1 data line, use the framing command in T1 configuration mode. To disable
T1 framing, use the no form of this command.
framing {esf| sf}
no framing {esf| sf}
Syntax Description
Specifies extended super frame as the T1 frame type. The default is esf.esf

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.
Use the framing command in configurations in which the router or access server is intended to communicate
with T1 fractional data lines. The service provider determines the framing type required for your T1 circuit.

The following example shows how to select super frame as the T1 frame type:
