7.1.8 Announcements
Definition
Announcement devices can be connected to a/b interfaces for UCD, announcement before answering
and DTMF direct inward dialling. In addition, the MOH to be played in specific situations (e.g. while
a caller is on hold, while an extension is busy or during the switching operation) can be replaced by an
announcement source.
The announcement devices can also be connected via E&M with the OfficePro system. A start/stop
indication can be carried out via relays and sensors or via E&M. Up to 32 extensions can be
connected to an announcement device.
