Empty Reject
(Instructions for processing rejected notes back into the Note Recycler)
Notes that are rejected during dispense transactions are placed in the Reject Cassette.
The Reject Cassette is located at the top/rear of the Note Recycler.
When this function is selected - The following steps are required to access the Reject Cassette
Log In > Status (bottom tool bar) > Note Recycler > Empty Reject
a) Open the Note Recycler Door and Note Collection Area Coverplate.
b) Extend the Note Recycler from the Note Handler cabinet.
c) Remove and empty the Reject Cassette.
d) Secure the Note Recycler into the Note Handler cabinet (door must be shut and locked).
e) Select the (highlighted) Reject Cassette from the displayed menu.
Select “I emptied the cassette”
After removing notes from the Reject Cassette - the User will be prompted to place the rejected
notes into the Note Collection area.
a) Place the notes removed from the Reject Cassette into the Note Collection area.
The Note Recycler will begin processing the notes
X Notes that are recognized as acceptable by the Note Recycler will be processed
into the appropriate Recycle Cassette.
If “Send All Rejects To Deposit” is enabled, notes will not be processed to the
Recycle Cassette - recognizable notes will be routed to the Deposit Cassette.
X Notes that can be recognized, but are unacceptable for use by the Note Recycler
will be processed into the Deposit Cassette
X If notes cannot be recognized (presented back to Note Collection area), a series
of steps will be required to complete the process:
Select DONE
b) A prompt will be displayed - “Were you unable to feed any of the reject area notes”
NO = The reject process will proceed.
YES = A note entry screen will appear - enter the number and type of notes that were
not deposited back into the Note Recycler.
c) A prompt may be displayed - “Would you like to drop the refused notes”
NO = The reject process will proceed.
YES = A drop entry screen will appear - enter the drop reference number.
d) A prompt will be displayed - “Did you recover any notes from the transport”
NO = The reject process will end
YES = The User insert notes recovered from the Note Recycler feed path area.
