Cleaning
DO NOT USE CHEMICALS OR ABRASIVE CLEANERS !
DO NOT SPRAY LIQUID CLEANERS ONTO OR INTO ANY PART OF THE COIN SORTER
DO NOT USE BRISTLES, BRUSHES OR SCRAPING DEVICES TO PERFORM CLEANING
Cleaning should be performed using a vacuum, cotton swab and cloth dampened with water only.
1) Remove the loading tray from the Coin Sorter.
2) Open the Coin Sorter hood and use the “kickstand” to secure it in the open position.
3) Release the orange retainer band from around the Disk Cap and unscrew the cap.
4) Carefully lift the Coin Drive Disk from the Coin Sorter.
Vacuum First
X Coin Drive Disk
X Feed Wheel cavity and wheel
X Coin Sorting Plate
X Coin Exit Path and Sensor areas
Feed Wheel ~ Wipe down with damp cloth
1) Screw the Coin Drive Disk into the post.
2) Rotate the cap to turn the Feed Wheel while wiping.
a) Wipe the inner Feed Wheel area and Feed Wheel under the loading tray.
b) Wipe the outer area of the Feed Wheel under the hood, at the entrance of the Coin Sorting
Plate.
3) Wipe face of the Coin Sorting Plate.
4) Wipe the inner lip of the outer rim surrounding the Coin Sorting Plate.
Clean with cotton swab
1) The lenses of the (2) Sensors under the Coin Sorting Plate (on each side of each coin exit slot).
2) Areas where path guides meet - not accessible with a cloth.
