Allow Multiple Open Accounting Periods (Y/N)
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Configuration > EOD and Accounting Options
If this function is enabled, the AUTOMATIC END OF DAY feature will not operate.
When enabled, allows Users to begin separate accounting periods.
ENABLED:
The User can select “Start New Accounting Period” after log in.
Only (2) accounting periods can be open at one time.
If (2) accounting periods are currently open, “Start New Accounting Period” will not be visible
as a selection after log in.
If (2) accounting periods are currently open, and a (3rd successive), “Start New Accounting
Period “ begins, the oldest accounting period will be closed in order to start the next.
DISABLED:
The selection for “Start New Accounting Period” will not be visible after log in.
If the “Auto Start Of Day” is set, the current accounting period will end at the time the auto start of
day begins.

ASK FOR ACCOUNTING PERIOD:
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Configuration > EOD and Accounting Options > Ask For
Accounting Period
ENABLED:
The User will be prompted to select the accounting period when any transaction is
performed that affects accountability reports
DISABLED:
Transactions performed while (2) accounting periods are open will be recorded in both
accounting period reports.
USE NAMED ACCOUNTING PERIODS:
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Configuration > EOD and Accounting Options > Use
Named Accounting Periods
ENABLED:
The User can enter a name for the accounting period that is beginning when:
a) Start New Accounting Period is performed.
b) End Accounting Period is performed.
If “Auto Start OF Day Time” is assigned, the TR Series Recycler will automatically
assign the date/time as the name of the file when the new START OF DAY begins.
When an “End Accounting Period” is performed manually, the user will be prompted
to enter a file name for the accounting period that is beginning.
DISABLED:
The newly started accounting period will be named as the date and time when:
a) Start New Accounting Period is performed.
b) End Accounting Period is performed.
